Bumper plates are made of durable recycled rubber and can easily be cleaned with regular dish soap and water.

Grey Man Gear Multi-Purpose Olympic Barbells - 15kg and 20kg

Warranty

Grey Man Gear guarantees this product for life against bending and breaking. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product for so long as the original purchaser owns the product, and is non-transferable. Warranty does not apply to barbells that need maintenance or that were abused or mishandled.

The Grey Man Gear warranty does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, excessive dropping with iron plates, excessive dropping on concrete or similar surfaces without the use of our Tactical Weight Bags, and similar usage). Damage to threading where the bars sections connect due to negligent or faulty handling (i.e. dropping, improper transport, and similar instances) is not covered. Warranty does not cover coating (i.e. chrome, Cerokote, zinc-nickel).

Maintenance and Cleaning for Barbells

Sleeves: If the rotation of the sleeves begins to slow, put a few drops of 3-in-1 oil on the inner bushing and spin the sleeve with your hands. This should restore the sleeve to a desired spin. DO NOT use WD-40. *Removing the end caps without our prior, written consent voids warranty.

Shaft: The shaft can be cleaned using gentle soap, water, and a soft sponge. If there is a chalk build-up in the knurling that doesn’t come out with the sponge, use a soft-bristled brush and a light scrubbing motion to free the sediment. Dry the shaft using a soft lint-free cloth or towel.

For Multi-piece Barbells in Gym Box

If the threading becomes harder to assemble/disassemble over time, apply a few drops of 3-in-1 oil into the female ends of the connections and assemble to bar. The small amount of oil will restore the desired assembly/disassembly convenience.

Grey Man Gear D-Ball Medicine Ball

Warranty

All products are warrantied for a one-year period from date of purchase.

Warranty covers any manufacturing defect. Warranty may be voided for any product which has been damaged due to neglect or faulty use, alterations or handling by user. NOTE: Negligent use includes slamming of the ball on an abrasive surface. THIS WILL DAMAGE THE SHELL and is not covered under warranty. Please ensure the floor space being used features a smooth surface and is clear of debris. Normal wear and tear is not covered. All determinations are at the discretion of Grey Man Gear.

Maintenance

Upon delivery or over time the Grey Man Gear D-ball Medicine Ball can start to deflate. In order to maintain the shape a standard ball pump can be used to re-inflate them. The D-ball Medicine Balls  are made of a durable PVC shell so standard dish soap and water can be utilized for cleaning.

Deflated / Misshapen D-Ball Medicine Balls

The quick and easy fix should only take a couple of minutes and you will be back in business. Here is what you need and the simple steps to take to make your D-Ball like new.

You will need the following:

  1. Liquid soap, the best we have found is Dawn dish liquid
  2. Football or basketball air valve
  3. Air pump to insert air

This procedure may have to be done a couple of times

  1. Locate the vent hole*. The vent hole is located in the plug area within the painted number. Most of the time we put the vent hole in the number the ones we can but, other times it’s between the numbers. It should be there and noticeable.
  2. Take the air valve and dip it into the Dawn dish liquid
  3. Insert the air valve into the vent hole.
  4. Inflate air into the ball. DO NOT put too much air in, just enough to notice the ball is starting to expand slightly.
  5. Remove air valve
  6. Bounce and roll the D-Ball around the floor until the shape comes back.
  7. Your D-Ball should be ready to use – go get after it!

If for some reason, it does not work the first time you might have to repeat the above steps.

*NOTE – If by chance, no vent hole is apparent please make one. We suggest using a Sharp poking instrument - ice pick, awl or turkey lacing pin. You could even use a large straightened paperclip. Dip the poking instrument into liquid soap, locate and place the poking instrument into the center of the plug and push through.  You will feel resistance until you penetrate through the plug which is about 3/16" of an inch.
